Chicken Pan Roll

Ingredients for Chicken Pan Roll:

1. Oil – 2 big spoons

2. Onion chopped fine – ½ cup

    Ginger chopped fine – 1 big spoon

    Green chillies chopped fine – 1 big spoon

3. Beans and carrot chopped fine – ½ cup each

4. Cabbage and capsicum chopped fine – ½ cup each

5. Chicken cooked and chopped fine – 1 cup

    Celery chopped fine – 2 big spoons

    Spring onion chopped fine – 2 big spoons

    Salt – For taste

6. Pepper powder – As required

For Pancake:

7. Maida – 1 cup

    Salt – A pinch

8. Milk – 1 cup

    Water – 1 cup

9. Egg – 1, beaten

10. Bread crumbs – 2 cup

11. Egg beaten – 2

12. Oil – For frying

How to prepare Chicken Pan Roll?

1. Heat oil and sauté ingredients no: 2.

2. Add beans and carrot and sauté again, followed by cabbage and capsicum.

3. Add ingredients no: 5 and sauté again.

4. Close the pan with a lid and cook the contents well.

5. Add pepper powder and take off from flame. This is used as filling for pan roll.

6. To prepare pancake, blend maida with salt.

7. Add milk and water and mix well without any lumps.

8. Finally add beaten egg and mix well to prepare the batter.

9. Grease a non-stick pan and prepare pancakes using this batter (similar to dosa).

10. Place 1 spoon filling on one side of pancakes and fold either ends.

11. Roll it tight to form pan rolls.

12. Dip pan rolls in beaten eggs, wrap in bread crumbs and fry in hot oil.

13. Approximately 18 pan rolls can be prepared by this quantity.
