Chemmeen Peera (Prawns Peera)

Ingredients for Chemmeen Peera (Prawns Peera):

1. Prawns(small) – ¼ kg

2. Coconut scrapped – 1 cup

    Chilli powder – ½ small spoon

    Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp

    Cumin seeds – ¼ small spoon

3. Pot tamarind – 1 piece

    Shallots chopped – ¼ cup

    Green chillies – 4, chopped

    Ginger chopped fine – 2 small spoons

    Garlic chopped fine – 2 small spoons

    Curry leaves – 1 stem

    Salt – For taste

    Coconut oil – 1 big spoon

How to prepare Chemmeen Peera (Prawns Peera)?

Clean prawns and keep aside.

Crush ingredients listed as 2.

Mix prawns, crushed coconut and ingredients no: 3 in a cooking pot.

Cook prawns in low flame.
