Cauliflower – Groundnut Masala

Ingredients for Cauliflower – Groundnut Masala:

1. Cauliflower – 1 cup florets

2. Red chillies powder – 1 small spoon

    Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon

    Salt – As required

    Garam masala powder – ½ small spoon

3. Fresh ground nut (not dried) – ¼ cup

    Salt – As required

    Red chilli powder – ½ small spoon

4. Oil – As required

5. Ginger, garlic and green chillies crushed – 1 small spoon each

6. Onions chopped – ¼ cup

7. Tomato sauce – 1 big spoon

    Soya sauce – 1 small spoon

8. Salt – As required

9. Coriander leaves – To decorate

How to prepare Cauliflower – Groundnut Masala?

1. Dip cauliflower florets in warm salt water for 15 minutes.

2. Then drain that water and cook cauliflower adding sufficient water.

3. Marinate cauliflower with ingredients no: 2.

4. Allow it to rest for 15 minutes and deep fry in hot oil.

5. Cook groundnut adding salt and chilli powder.

6. Heat oil and ingredients no: 5.

7. Sauté again adding onions till it turns golden brown.

8. Bring to low flame. Add both sauces and mix well.

9. Add fried cauliflower and cooked groundnut and mix well.

10. Add coriander leaves and salt and cook in low flame with lid closed.

11. When contents are well cooked, put off the flame.
