Abhinav Gomatam – Telugu comedian of ‘Ee Nagaraniki Emaindhi’ fame

Abhinav Gomatam is a Telugu film actor from Hyderabad, who mostly plays supporting and second lead roles. He excels in comic roles. Falaknuma Das, Malli Raava, Maine Pyaar Kiya, Ee Nagaraniki Emaindhi, Artificial etc are some of his Telugu film roles. He has also appeared in a few short films. He has been associated with cine bizz since 2011. He started off with theatre before accepting film roles. He has worked at Lamakaan, UDAAN Performing Arts and Aham Theatre as a stage actor.

Abhinav Gomatam was born and brought up in Hyderabad. He was born in 1986. He is a very talented actor who started off with theatre and film roles came in. Initially he did short films before getting break in Tollywood. He completed his engineering degree from Vignan Institute of Technology and Science before he pursued acting. Artificial in 2013 was his first short film. 2014 romantic film Maine Pyaar Kiya marked his big screen debut, and since then he mostly plays comic roles on screen. He played lead role of Kaushik in Ee Nagaraniki Emaindhi which gave him a major break in the industry.

1. His role as Kaushik in Ee Nagaraniki Emaindhi was inspired from a real life character of its director Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam’s friend.

2. Machaaa Enaku Iniki Kalyanam, The Delivery, Artificial etc are some of his short films.

3. His debut short film – Artificial, where he played the lead role opposite Supriya Aysola won the Platinum Award for the Best Short Film at the Nevada Film Festival.

4. He is a great fan of ace director Maniratnam and Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan.

5. He is an avid reader who loves to read fictional and social related books.
