Chana Masala with Mint Leaves

Ingredients for Chana Masala with Mint Leaves:

1. White chickpeas – 1 cup

2. Garlic – 6 cloves

    Ginger – 1 piece

    Cinnamon – 3 pieces

    Cardamom – 3

    Cloves – 6

    Cumin seeds – 1 small spoon

    Pepper – 1 small spoon

    Chilli powder – 2 small spoons full

    Coriander powder – 2 small spoons full

    Turmeric powder – ¼ small spoon

3. Oil – As required

4. Onion – 2 big, chopped

5. Tomato – 2, chopped

6. Coriander leaves – 1 bundle, chopped

    Mint leaves – 1 small bundle, chopped

7. Tomato sauce – 2 big spoons

    Soya sauce – 2 big spoons

    Salt – As required

8. Coriander leaves – To decorate

How to prepare Chana Masala with Mint Leaves?

1. Soak chickpeas for 10-12 hours and then cook it well in a pressure cooker.

2. Make a fine paste of ingredients no: 2.

3. Heat oil and sauté onions.

4. Add the gravy to onions and sauté it well.

5. When a thin layer of oil appears on the surface, add tomatoes and sauté again.

6. Add coriander leaves and mint leaves and sauté for a few minutes.

7. Add cooked chickpeas and sauces and cook for a few minutes.

8. When your curry thickens, add coriander leaves and put the flame off.
