10+ Simple tips to take care of your mixer

1. To remove the strong smell of your mixer jar such as spices, add a little bread crumbs to it and blend once.

2. Once in every month, grind a little salt powder or crystal salt in your mixer. Your mixer blade remains sharp. It will also clean up your jar.

3. After washing the jars, place them upside down. It will get rid of bad odours and dry your jar easily.

4. To remove bad smell in your mixer jar, put one or two pieces of lemon skin (after removing juice) in your mixer and blend for two minutes.

5. To remove stains in your mixer jar, add two big spoons of vinegar and water each and blend well for a while.

6. Grinding hot ingredients may damage your mixer and blade. Room temperature is best.

7. Add a little water to baking soda to make a fine paste. Apply on mixer jar and lid, and wash off after 5 minutes. It helps to remove bad smell and stain marks of your mixer jar.

8. Never run the mixer for more than three minutes in a go. After 3 minutes, take a temporary break for one minute and then use it.

9. Never start your mixer at high speed. Start with low speed, then to medium and finally to fast mode. It reduces the pressure of motor and adds extra life to your mixer.

10. Keep mixer and its plug point away from moisture and leakage, to avoid electric shocks.

11. Remove the plug of mixer from plug point after use.
