Vegetable Pasta
Pasta is a staple dish of Italians. Unlike Indian dishes, it is not at all spicy. Taste of cheesy cream makes pasta a special dish, favourite to everyone. Yet pasta is not friendly to those who want a slim figure. You can add vegetables of your choice to bring twist to your dish. You can also add chicken or tomatoes. Never add coconut oil or ghee for its preparation. Use any vegetable oil or butter.
Ingredients for Vegetable Pasta:
1. Cooked pasta – 1 big bowl
2. Butter – 2 small spoons
3. Maida – 1 small spoon
4. Milk – 1 cup
5. Cheese – 3 slices
6. Garlic chopped into thin round pieces – 1 small spoon
Onion – 1, chopped
Capsicum – 1, chopped fine
Zucchini – 1, chopped
7. Tomato – 2, grind to a paste
8. Red chillies crushed – 2 small spoons
Basil leaves – 1 big spoon
Celery chopped – 1 big spoon
Oregano – ½ small spoon
9. Pepper powder – ½ small spoon
Salt – For taste
How to prepare Vegetable Pasta?
1. Melt butter and roast maida.
2. Add milk and boil the contents. You can add water if extra needed.
3. Add cheese to it and mix the contents.
4. When cheesy mixture turns creamy, switch off the flame. This is the white sauce.
5. Melt butter and fry chopped garlic.
6. Add onions and vegetables and sauté for 1 minute.
7. Add tomato paste, followed by ingredients no: 8.
8. Add salt and pepper, followed by pasta.
9. Stir the contents and put off the flame.
10. Add prepared white sauce to your vegetable pasta and serve hot.
