Pineapple – Pumpkin Pachadi (Pineapple – Mathanga Pachadi)

Ingredients for Pineapple – Pumpkin Pachadi (Pineapple – Mathanga Pachadi):

1. Pineapple – ½

2. Pumpkin – 1 small piece

3. Turmeric powder – ¼ small spoon

    Chilli powder – 1.5 small spoons

    Salt – For taste

4. Tamarind – Gooseberry sized

    Water – ½ cup

    Raisins – 10 or 12

5. Coconut scrapped – ½

    Green chillies – 2

6. Mustard – ¼ small spoon, crushed

7. Coconut oil – 1.5 big spoons

8. Mustard – 1 small spoon

    Curry leaves – 2 stalks

    Red chillies – 5

How to prepare Pineapple – Pumpkin Pachadi (Pineapple – Mathanga Pachadi)?

1. Soak gooseberry in water and extract juice.

2. Cut pineapple and pumpkin into small pieces after removing skin.

3. Cook it along with ingredients no: 3 adding sufficient water.

4. Add ingredients no: 4 and boil the contents.

5. Make a fine paste of coconut and green chillies.

6. Add this paste along with crushed mustard to cooked pineapple mixture.

7. Keep cooking till pineapple pachadi boils.

8. Heat oil and fry ingredients no: 8.

9. Add it to your pachadi and serve.
