Mulaku Varutha Chammanthi (Chilly Fried Chutney)

Ingredients for Mulaku Varutha Chammanthi (Chilly Fried Chutney):

1. Red chillies – 12

2. Shallots – 30

   Tamarind – A small gooseberry sized

3. Salt – As needed

    Sugar – 2 pinches

4. Coconut oil – 4 small spoons  

How to prepare Mulaku Varutha Chammanthi (Chilly Fried Chutney)?

1. Fry the chillies in a little coconut oil.

2. Extract chillies from oil and crush it along with ingredients no: 2.

3. Add salt and sugar to it and mix it with remaining coconut oil.

4. Transfer the chutney to a jar.

5. Use it within 3-4 days.
