Kozhi Nirachu Porichath (Stuffed Chicken Fried)

Ingredients for Kozhi Nirachu Porichath (Stuffed Chicken Fried):

1. Chicken small sized (hen) – 1

2. Coconut oil – 3 big spoons

3. Onions chopped fine – 1

4. Ginger crushed – 1 small spoon

5. Garlic crushed – 1 small spoon

6. Green chillies crushed – 2

7. Tomato finely chopped – 1

8. Coriander leaves chopped – 1 big spoon

9. Turmeric powder – 1 pinch

10. Chilli powder – ½ small spoon

11. Coriander powder – ½ small spoon

12. Pepper powder – 1 pinch

13. Garam masala powder – 1 pinch

14. Salt – For taste

15. Boiled eggs – 2

16. Cashews fried in ghee – 12

17. Raisins fried in ghee – 12

How to prepare Kozhi Nirachu Porichath (Stuffed Chicken Fried)?

1. Sauté onions adding coconut oil.

2. When it turns soft, add ginger, garlic and green chillies.

3. Sauté for a minute and add coriander leaves and tomato.

4. Cut the liver of chicken to small pieces, and add to it.

5. Add powders to the mixture, listed 9-13 and also sufficient salt and sauté again.

6. Add eggs, cashews and raisins.

7. Mix it well. The masala to stuff chicken is ready.

8. Remove skin of chicken and clean it well.

9. Soak chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt adding a little water.

10. Marinate chicken using this paste and steam cook it.

11. Make a fine cut in the stomach of the cooked chicken.

12. Stuff the chicken with already prepared masala and eggs.

13. Heat oil in a pan and fry chicken well.

14. Flip both sides to cook well.

15. While frying chicken, take extra care not to alter the shape of chicken.

16. You can decorate chicken with fried cashews and raisins and serve.
