Unniyappam Pradhaman

Ingredients for Unniyappam Pradhaman:

1. Kerala banana (Ethapazham) – 1

    Jaggery solution – ½ cup

    Rice flour – 1 cup

    Cardamom – 5, powdered

2. Ghee – 100 milli

3. Jaggery – 150 gm

4. Coconut milk – 1 cup

5. Cashews – 10

    Raisins – 10

How to prepare Unniyappam Pradhaman?

1. Make a fine paste of ingredients no: 1 and prepare batter.

2. Place Unniyappam maker in flame and heat it.

3. Pour ghee, and pour batter little by little into the moulds.

4. Cook Unniyappams in medium flame till they turn crispy and golden brown.

5. Place urli in flame and melt jaggery.

6. Strain it and place it back in flame.

7. Add coconut boil and keep boiling till the jaggery mixture thickens.

8. Add cardamom powder.

9. When it is done, add unniyappam and stir the contents. Put off the flame.

10. Decorate with roasted cashews and raisins.
