Tomato Pasta

Ingredients for Tomato Pasta:

1. Pasta – 150 gm

2. Olive oil – 2 big spoons

3. Onion – 1 small, chopped

4. Garlic – 2 cloves, chopped

5. Tomato chopped fine – 400 gm

    Tomato puree – 2 big spoons

    Oregano – 1 small spoon

    Bay leaf – 2 (Vayana Ila)

    Sugar – 1 small spoon

6. Salt and pepper – For taste

7. Grated cheese, red chilli crushed and pepper powder – To garnish

8. Cooked vegetables of your choice – As needed (optional)

How to prepare Tomato Pasta?

1. Cook pasta and strain excess water.

2. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté chopped onion.

3. When it turns translucent, add chopped garlic and sauté for a minute.

4. Add ingredients no: 5 and mix well.

5. Add salt and pepper and boil the contents.

6. Reduce the flame and cook for 15 more minutes till water content is almost absorbed.

7. Remove bay leaves and add cooked pasta.

8. Toss pasta and mix the contents well.

9. Sprinkle ingredients no: 7 on its top.

10. Add cooked vegetables (optional). Your dinner is ready.
