Tomato – Drumstick Curry (Thakkali-Muringakka Curry)

Ingredients for Tomato – Drumstick Curry (Thakkali-Muringakka Curry):

1. Tomato – 3, chopped

    Drumstick – 2, cut into 2-inch pieces

    Onions chopped lengthwise – 1

    Green chillies – 3, end split

    Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon

    Salt – For taste

    Water – 3 cups

2. Coconut scrapped – ½ cup

    Cumin seeds – 1 small spoon

    Shallots -2

    Turmeric powder – ¼ small spoon

     Green chillies – 3

3. Oil – 3 small spoons

4. Mustard – 1 small spoon

    Curry leaves – 1 stalk

    Shallots chopped – 1 small spoon

5. Chilli powder – 1 small spoon

How to prepare Tomato – Drumstick Curry (Thakkali-Muringakka Curry)?

1. Mix together ingredients no: 1 and cook.

2. Make a fine paste of ingredients no: 2 and add to it.

3. Add sufficient salt and water and take off from flame.

4. Heat oil and sputter mustard seeds.

5. Fry shallots and then add curry leaves.

6. Put off the flame and add chilli powder.

7. Mix well and add it to your tomato-drumstick curry.
