Tasty Egg Rice
Ingredients for Tasty Egg Rice:
1. Boiled eggs – 4
2. Basmati rice – 2 cups
3. Ghee/coconut oil – 4 spoons
Onions – 3, sliced thin
Salt – As required
4. Ginger-garlic paste – 3 small spoons
Curry leaves – 1 stalk
Green chillies – 2, spilt into 2
5. Coriander powder – 3.5 big spoons
Garam masala powder – 1 big spoon
Chilly powder – 1.5 big spoons
Turmeric powder – ¼ small spoon
6. Curd – 3.5 big spoons
7. Mint and coriander leaves chopped – 2 big spoons each
Lemon juice – From 1 lemon
8. Raisins and cashews fried – For seasoning
How to prepare Tasty Egg Rice?
1. Cook basmati rice adding enough salt.
2. Heat oil/ghee in a pan and sauté onions.
3. When it turns brown, add sufficient salt, and separate it into two halves.
4. Keep one half for seasoning your biryani at later stages.
5. In the remaining half, and ingredients no: 4 and sauté the contents well.
6. Add ingredients no: 5, one by one in the given order and sauté well.
7. When you get a pleasant aroma, add curd and ingredients no: 7.
8. Mix the contents well, and add cooked eggs to it.
9. Cook in low flame with lid closed for 10 minutes.
10. After 10 minutes, remove the lid, add cooked rice and fried onions and mix your egg biryani slowly.
11. Add Raisins and cashews and serve hot.
