Syrian Chicken Curry
Ingredients for Syrian Chicken Curry:
- Chicken – 1 kg
- Coconut oil – 50 gm
- Ginger chopped – 50 gm
- Garlic chopped – 25 gm
- Green chillies chopped – 5
- Onion – 350 gm
- Tomato sliced – 3
- Curry leaves – as needed
- Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
- Coriander powder – 2 tsp
- Chilli powder – 2 tsp
- Chicken masala powder – 1 tsp
- Garam masala – 1 tsp
- Pepper powder – 1 tsp
- Salt – as needed
- Carrot – 50 gm
- Potato – 50 gm
Method of preparation of Syrian Chicken Curry:
- Heat oil in a pan and add ingredients 2-6. Fry it well.
- Add ingredients 9-14 and mix well.
- Make tomato into a paste and add to it.
- Add chicken, carrot, potato, salt and sufficient water. Mix the contents well and close the lid.
- When chicken is well cooked spread a little oil on the top.
