Sudevan

banana curries

Ingredients for Sudevan:

1. Raw banana – ¼ kg

    Salt – For taste

    Chilli powder – 2 small spoons

2. Coconut oil – 50 milli

3. Red chillies – 4, split into two and fried

    Coconut scrapped – 1

4. Butter milk – 1.5 cups

5. Salt – For taste

    Jaggery powdered – 5 small spoons

6. Curry leaves – 1 stem

How to prepare Sudevan?

1. Cut raw banana to small square pieces and marinate with salt and chilli powder.

2. After some time deep fry them in hot oil till they turn golden brown and crispy.

3. Make a fine paste of coconut and fried red chillies.

4. Add this smooth paste to butter milk and slightly heat it.

5. Just before you serve, add fried banana pieces and mix well.

6. Also add coconut oil, salt and jaggery and stir well.

7. Fry a few curry leaves and decorate your curry.
