Stuffed Paratta

Ingredients for Stuffed Paratta:

1. Maida – 1 kg

   Salt – 1 small spoon

   Oil – 1 small spoon

2. Potatoes cooked and smashed – 50 gm

    Peas cooked and smashed – 50 gm

3. Onions chopped fine – 5 big spoons

    Green chillies chopped fine – 1 small spoon

    Chilli powder – 2 small spoons

    Coriander leaves chopped fine – 2 small spoons

    Turmeric powder – 1 small spoon

    Salt – For taste

4. Butter – 2 small spoons

How to prepare Stuffed Paratta?

1. Mix together ingredients no: 1, add sufficient water and knead the dough.

2. Divide into 21 equal parts and make balls.

3. Spread them to thin round shapes, similar to chappatti.

4. Mix together ingredients no: 3 and divide into 2 equal halves.

5. Mix each part with potatoes and peas separately and keep aside.

6. Take a chappatti and spread a little potato mixture.

7. Place another chapatti on its top and spread peas mixture, followed by another chappatti.

8. Moist your hands with water, and stick the edges of chapattis together.

9. Continue the process for remaining chapattis.

10. Heat tawa and cook each piece in low flame.

11. When it turns golden brown colour, spread a little butter on either sides, and take off from flame.

12. You can serve these parattas as such, or by dividing into two or more parts, if you desire so.
