Sprouted Green Gram Thoran (Mulappicha Cherupayar Thoran)
Ingredients for Sprouted Green Gram Thoran (Mulappicha Cherupayar Thoran):
1. Sprouted green gram – 2 cups
2. Turmeric powder – ¼ small spoon
Salt – As required
3. Oil – 1 big spoon
4. Mustard – ½ small spoon
5. Fennel seeds – ½ small spoon
Curry leaves – 2 stalks
6. Onions – 1, finely chopped
Garlic – 2 cloves, finely chopped
Green chillies – 4, end spitted
7. Coconut scrapped – ½ cup
Salt – For taste
How to prepare Sprouted Green Gram Thoran (Mulappicha Cherupayar Thoran)?
1. Cook sprouted green gram adding ingredients no: 2. Steam cooking is healthy and a better method.
2. Heat oil, sputter mustards, and sauté fennel seeds and curry leaves.
3. Add ingredients no: 6 and sauté the contents.
4. When onions turns golden brown colour, add cooked gram and mix well.
5. Add scrapped coconut at last and mix well.
6. When steam comes out, put the flame off.
7. Serve hot.
