Rashmi Gautam – Film actress and TV anchor of ‘Jabardasth’ fame

Rashmi Gautam is a well-known TV anchor and actress, who predominantly works in Telugu cinema. She has anchored many popular shows for ETV such as Jabardasth, Extra Jabardasth, Dhee 10, Dhee Jodi etc. She has also anchored shows for Tollywood TV, Gemini TV etc. She started her acting career as a child artist through 2002 Telugu movie, Holi, and made her debut as an adult actress in a supporting role through Prasthanam in 2010. She also played a noted role in 2012 Bollywood suspense thriller, Login. She made an impressive debut in Kannada films the same year through Guru and bagged a nomination at SIIMA for best female debut.

Rashmi Gautam was born in 1988 in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. She started off her acting career as a teenager with supporting roles in 2002, and later moved to lead roles. She also owns a very successful career as an anchor of TV shows. Prasthanam in 2010 marked her debut as an adult actress, and since then she has played mostly lead roles on screen. In 2011 she made Tamil debut through Kandaen opposite Shanthnoo Bhagyaraj, and the film fared well at box office. Guntur Talkies, Next Nuvve, Tanu Vachchenanta etc are some of her Telugu movies in lead roles. Jabardasth in 2013 marked her debut as an anchor and the show was immensely popular.
