Potato Curd Masala (Urulakizhangu Thair Masala)

Ingredients for Potato Curd Masala (Urulakizhangu Thair Masala):

1. Small sized potatoes – 12

2. Curd – 1.25 cups

    Water – 1.25 cups

    Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp

    Chilli powder – 1 tsp

    Coriander powder – 1 tsp

    Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp

    Salt – 1 tsp

3. Oil – 2 tablespoons

4. Fennel seeds – 1 tsp

5. Coriander leaves chopped – 1 tablespoon

    Green chillies – 2

6. Coriander leaves – To decorate

How to prepare Potato Curd Masala (Urulakizhangu Thair Masala)?

1. Cook potatoes in salt-added water.

2. Remove skin of potatoes once cooled.

3. Mix ingredients no: 2 together and keep aside.

4. Heat oil in a saucepan and add funnel seeds.

5. Reduce the flame and add curd mixture slowly.

6. Keep stirring for next 3 minutes.

7. Add boiled potatoes and ingredients no: 5.

8. Sauté for 7 minutes and put off the flame.

9. Decorate with coriander leaves and serve.
