Pinjaanapathil
Ingredients for Pinjaanapathil:
1. Kaima rice (Rice used for ghee rice) – 200 gm
Ponni rice – 200 gm
2. Coconut scrapped – 2 cups
Boiled rice – 1 cup
Salt – For taste
Cardamom powder – 1 small spoon
3. Ghee – 2 big spoons
How to prepare Pinjaanapathil?
1. Wash both rice and soak in cold water for 3 hours.
2. Grind rice along with ingredients no: 2 to prepare batter.
3. Batter should be finely grinded and have the consistency of dosa’s.
4. Grease small soup bowls with ghee and pour batter.
5. Steam cook these bowls using a steamer.
6. When it’s almost done, spread a little ghee on the top of each Pinjaanapathil.
7. Serve hot with any side dish of your choice.
