Pepper Mushroom Kofta Curry
Ingredients for Pepper Mushroom Kofta Curry:
1. Mushroom cut into very fine pieces – 1 cup
Salt – For taste
2. Turmeric powder – 1 pinch
Ginger-Garlic paste – 1 small spoon
Pepper powder – 1 small spoon
Garam masala powder – 1 small spoon
Oil – For sauting
3. Bread crumbs – To roll
4. Oil – For frying
5. Onion – 1 cut into very fine pieces
Green chillies – 2 split at ends
6. Black pepper crushed – 1 small spoon
Mint leaves paste – 1 small spoon
7. Pepper powder – 1 small spoon
Garam masala powder – 2 small spoons
8. Cardamom powder – ¼ small spoon
Basil leaves powdered – ¼ small spoon
How to prepare Pepper Mushroom Kofta Curry?
1. Cook 1 cup mushrooms adding salt to taste and ½ cup water.
2. Smash it well and sauté it adding ingredients no: 2 and a little oil.
3. Continue sauting till oil separates and the contents separate from edge of the pan.
4. Roll it to gooseberry sized Kofta balls, roll in bread crumbs and fry in hot oil.
5. In the remaining oil, sauté onions and green chillies.
6. When it is done, add crushed pepper and mint paste to it and sauté again.
7. Add black powder and garam masala powder and sufficient water for Kofta curry.
8. When the curry boils and contents thicken, add mushroom balls.
9. Boil Kofta curry and put the flame off.
10. Now season the curry with cardamom powder and powder of basil leaves.
