Pedicure at home using ingredients from kitchen

Most of us spend a lot of time and money in beauty parlours to get soft and beautiful feet. Is it possible to do pedicure at home? Yes! Dry skin, dirt and cracks of feet can kill your feet’s beauty and of course your sleep. Let me give you simple procedure to do it at home. Only thing needed is a few minutes to spend for you. From your kitchen itself you can find a lot of simple and cheap things that can be used for foot massage to increase blood circulation as well as to regain its lost beauty.

How to do pedicure at home?

1. Take lukewarm water in a vessel and add a little shampoo to it. Then immerse your feet in that solution for 10 minutes. Then clean it well using pumice stone or foot brush. Now you can apply a little groundnut oil to feet and gently massage it for a while.

2. Now remove nail polish and clean your nails. Pedicure set is available in shops that can be used to remove dirt from nails and hard skin from either side. If vitamin-E capsule is available at home, break it into small pieces and mix it with a little butter and massage again. It adds extra shine to your feet. Also, it can remove dryness and hardness from your skin.

3. Next step is to massage feet using foot scrub. Mix a little rava with milk skin (layer on top of boiled milk) and lemon juice to get homely herbal scrubber. Massage it for five minutes and remove skin’s moisture using a cotton cloth. Now mix a little camphor with groundnut oil and gently massage your feet again.

4. Now you can apply fruit pack. Mix gram flour with honey and curd and use any one of these three to get a natural herbal pack – carrot, papaya or cucumber. Wash it off after 20 minutes. One important thing – clean this pack when it is half dried. Otherwise wrinkles may appear on your skin.

How often can you do home pedicure?

You can do this treatment twice a month. Along with it you can give daily care to your feet. Yellow yolk, almond oil, rose water and honey – mix them all and apply to your feet every day before bath. Honey-glycerin-lemon juice mixture is also nice.

Drink at least 10 glasses of water every day during summer. It prevents cracks as well as dryness of your feet. Also, it prevents colour change and paleness of your skin.
