Peanut Caramel Squares

Ingredients for Peanut Caramel Squares:

1. Butter – 125 gm

    Sugar – ½ cup

2. Yellow yolk – 1

3. Maida – 1.25 cups

    Baking powder – ¼ small spoon

4. Custard powder – 2 big spoons

    Salt – A pinch

5. Brown sugar – ½ cup

    Golden syrup – 1 big spoon

    Butter – 90 gm

6. Groundnut roasted – 125 gm

How to prepare Peanut Caramel Squares?

1. Pre-heat oven in 180 degree Celsius.

2. Add sugar to butter and soften it.

3. Add egg yolk and mix well.

4. Add blended baking powder and maida, along with custard powder and salt.

5. Mix all the contents together.

6. Grease a pan and pour this batter into it.

7. Bake in pre-heated oven for 15 minutes.

8. Take it from oven, give topping and put it back in oven for 5 minutes.

9. Take it out and allow to cool.

10. Cut into square pieces and serve.

11. To prepare topping, heat ingredients no: 5 together.

12. Keep stirring till sugar melts completely.

13. Keep in low flame for 5 more minutes and add groundnuts to it.

14. Your topping is ready.
