Paneer Tawa Masala

Ingredients for Paneer Tawa Masala:

1. Oil – 3 big spoons

2. Ajwain – ½ small spoon

3. Ginger – 1-inch piece, sliced thin lengthwise

    Green chillies – 4, sliced thin lengthwise

4. Onions – 2, sliced

5. Chilli powder – 2 small spoons

    Coriander powder – 2 small spoons

    Cumin seeds fried and powdered – 1/2 small spoon

    Salt – For taste

6. Tomatoes – 3

7. Paneer – 700 gm, cut to square pieces and deep fried in oil

8. Capsicum – 1, cut to square pieces and deep fried in oil

9. Garam masala powder – 1/2 small spoon

    Coriander leaves chopped – 2 small spoons

How to prepare Paneer Tawa Masala?

1. Heat oil in a big pan and sauté ajwain in medium flame.

2. When it starts sputtering, add ingredients no: 3 and sauté again.

3. Add onions and sauté well.

4. When onions turns golden brown, add ingredients no: 5 and sauté again.

5. Sauté for 2 minutes till its smell changes.

6. Add 2 chopped tomatoes and sauté again.

7. When a thin layer of oil appears, add fried paneer and capsicum.

8. Also add one tomato, cut into 4 pieces.

9. When the masala fully covers the paneer, add ingredients no: 9 and put off the flame.
