Paneer Mattar Bujiya
Ingredients for Paneer Mattar Bujiya:
1. Paneer – 1 cup
2. Oil – 1 big spoon
Ghee – 1 big spoon
3. Onions chopped fine – 2 big spoons
4. Ginger chopped fine – ½ big spoon
Green chillies – 2, chopped fine
5. Green peas – 1 cup
6. Stem of spring onion (without leaves) chopped fine – 1 big spoon
7. Garam masala powder – ½ small spoon
Red chilli powder – ½ small spoon
Sugar – ¼ small spoon
Coriander leaves chopped – 1 big spoon
How to prepare Paneer Mattar Bujiya?
1. Cut paneer to tiny pieces similar to green peas and soak in lukewarm water for some time.
2. Completely remove water content from paneer pieces.
3. Heat ghee and oil and sauté onions.
4. Add ginger and green chillies and sauté again.
5. When the contents are sauted well, add green peas and salt.
6. If you use fresh green peas add a little water to cook it. Otherwise add cooked green peas.
7. When peas are well cooked, add paneer pieces and spring onions.
8. Add ingredients no: 7 and put off the flame.
