Palak-Methi-Potato Curry

Ingredients for Palak-Methi-Potato Curry:

1. Palak – 250 gm

2. Methi – 100 gm

3. Potato – 1, big

4. Chilli powder – ½ small spoon

    Coriander powder – 1½ small spoon

    Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon

    Mustard – ½ small spoon

    Fenugreek – 1/4 small spoon

    Garlic – 5 cloves

    Ginger – 1-inch piece

    Onion – 1, medium

5. Oil – ¼ cup

6. Onion chopped fine – 1, medium

    Green chillies, end split – 2

7. Tomato cut into small pieces – 1

8. Boiling water – ½ cup

How to prepare Palak-Methi-Potato Curry?

1. Chop palak into tiny pieces.

2. Remove leaves from methi bundle, and wash well in salt water.

3. Chop potato into small pieces.

4. Make a fine paste of ingredients no: 4.

5. Heat oil and sauté green chillies and onions.

6. Add masala paste and sauté well in low flame.

7. When a thin layer of oil appears on the surface, add chopped potatoes, palak, methi and tomato.

8. Mix well and add boiling water.

9. Reduce the flame, close the lid and cook till it’s done.

10. Serve hot with chapati or poori.
