Paavakka Kichadi (Recipe 2)
I have earlier posted a recipe of Paavakka Kichadi from another edition of Vanitha Magazine and you can check the recipe here. Here is recipe no: 2, yet another Paavakka Kichadi.
Ingredients for Paavakka Kichadi:
1. Bitter gourd – 1
2. Coconut oil – 2 big spoons
3. Green chillies – 2, chopped very fine
4. Curd – 1 cup
5. Salt – As required
6. Curry leaves and red chillies fried in oil – To garnish
How to prepare Paavakka Kichadi?
1. Split bitter gourd into two, remove seeds and cut into very thin pieces.
2. Heat oil in a pan and fry bitter gourd and green chillies till it turns brown.
3. Drain off the excess oil and keep them aside.
4. Blend curd well, add salt and mix well.
5. Add fried bitter gourd and green chillies to it.
6. Garnish with fried curry leaves and red chillies.
