Nin Tumbu Kettiyitta song from Shalini Ente Koottukari – Lyrics in English with Translation

Sundharee.. aha…

Sundharee.. aha…

Sundharee…

Hey beauty…. Hey beauty…. Hey beauty….

Nin thumbu kettiyitta churul mudiyil,

Thulasi thalirila choodi

In the end tied curly hair of yours,

Adorning tender basil leaf,

Thushaara haaram maaril charthi,

Tharunyame ne vannu

And wearing mist garland in your bosom,

Hey young girl, you came.

Nin thumbu kettiyitta churul mudiyil,

Thulasi thalirila choodi

In the end tied curly hair of yours,

Adorning tender basil leaf,

Thushaara haaram maaril charthi,

Tharunyame ne vannuu..

And wearing mist garland in your bosom,

Hey young girl, you came.

Nin thumbu kettiyitta churul mudiyil…

In the end tied curly hair of yours

Sutharya sundhara mekhangal aliyum,

Nithantha neelimayil..

In the deep blues

Where beautiful clouds dissolve,

Sutharya sundhara mekhangal aliyum,

Nithantha neelimayil..

In the deep blues

Where beautiful clouds dissolve,

Oru sukhasheethala, shaleenathayil,

Ozhukee njanariyathe..

Ozhuki ozhuki njanariyathe..

Sundharee…

In a cool humbleness

I started floating,

Even without my knowledge,

Hey beauty…..

Nin thumbu kettiyitta churul mudiyil,

Thulasi thalirila choodi..

In the end tied curly hair of yours,

Adorning tender basil leaf,

Thushaara haaram, maaril charthi,

Tharunyame ne vannu..

And wearing mist garland in your bosom,

Hey young girl, you came.

Nin thumbu kettiyitta churul mudiyil…

In the end tied curly hair of yours

Mruthantha tharalitha mrunmaya kiranam,

Mazhayay thazhukumbol..

When earthen rays of *Mrigandan (Moon carrying hare)

Caress as rain,

Mruthantha tharalitha mrunmaya kiranam,

Mazhayay thazhukumbol..

When earthen rays of *Mrigandan (Moon carrying hare)

Caress as rain,

Oru saraseeruha souparnikayil,

Ozhukee njanariyathe..

Ozhuki ozhuki njanariyathe..

Sundharee…

In a (Souparnika) river filled with lotus,

I started floating…

Even without my knowledge,

Hey beauty….

Nin thumbu kettiyitta churul mudiyil,

Thulasi thalirila choodi…

In the end tied curly hair of yours,

Adorning tender basil leaf,

Thushaara haaram maaril charthi,

Tharunyame ne vannu..

Nee vannu….

And wearing mist garland in your bosom,

Hey young girl, you came.

You came….

Sundharee…

Sundharee…

Hey beauty…. Hey beauty….
