Nargis Fakhri – Bollywood actress of ‘Rockstar’ fame

Nargis Fakhri is a successful actress and model of Pakistan origin. She works in Bollywood cinema, mostly playing lead roles. She came to prominence soon after the release of her debut Bollywood flick, Rockstar in 2011, which became commercially successful. She is known for her good looks and flawless skin, despite the fact that her age is around 40. She has always remained in limelight for her looks and physical fitness, despite making her Bollywood debut at the age of 32. Madras Café, Dishoom, Housefull 3, Main Tera Hero etc are a few successful movies in which she played female lead. She has also done numerous item songs in Bollywood.

Nargis Fakhri was born in 1979 in Queens, New York City to Pakistani father and Czech mother. She has one younger sister. Her parents divorced when she was 6, and a few years later she lost her father. She never visited Pakistan after that. Nargis started her modelling career as a fashion model in US in her early 20s. Later she moved to India, and was a model for Kingfisher’s annual calendar in 2009. Rockstar in 2011 opposite Ranbir Kapoor gave her a major break to Bollywood, and there was no turning back after that.
