Mutta Mala
Ingredients of Muttamaala:
- Chicken egg – 5
- Duck egg – 5
- Sugar – 250 gm
- Yellow colour – 1 pinch
How to prepare Muttamaala?
- Separate yellow and white yolks of all eggs.
- Blend well, white yolks of both types of eggs. Mix yellow yolk also. Keep them separately.
- Steam cook white yolk.
- Add a glass of water to sugar and boil well. When it becomes fully soluble, pour yellow yolk through a single holed bowl/spoon or leaf spoon in circular motions so that it forms a chain in the sugar syrup. It should not be broken.
- Do it for the whole process. When egg cooks and floats on the surface like chains drain them and place in a serving plate.
- Cut yolk white to diamond pieces or any other shapes as you desire and place on the top of yellow yolk. You can even place a cherry to decorate them.
