Mushroom – Spring Onion Masala

Ingredients for Mushroom – Spring Onion Masala:

1. Oil – 2 big spoons

2. Spring onions – 3 stems (keep aside the green parts)

3. Onions – 2, chopped

4. Ginger – 1-inch piece, chopped

    Garlic – 3 cloves, chopped

5. Chilli powder – 2 small spoons

    Turmeric powder – 1 small spoon

    Cumin powder – ½ small spoon

    Coriander powder – 2 small spoons

    Salt – For taste

6. Tomatoes – 2, chopped fine

7. Cashews – 30 gm

8. Mushroom – 600 gm, chopped to four parts

9. Fresh cream – 2 big spoons

How to prepare Mushroom – Spring Onion Masala?

1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté spring onion and onions till golden brown.

2. Add garlic and ginger and sauté again.

3. Add ingredients no: 5 and saute again.

4. When the aroma chances to a pleasant flavour, add tomatoes and sauté again.

5. Boil cashews for 5 minutes and make a fine paste.

6. Add this cashew paste to masala and mix well.

7. Add mushrooms and cook for 5 more minutes.

8. Add green parts of spring onions and fresh cream and put the flame off.
