Mushroom Green Peas Curry
Ingredients for Mushroom Green Peas Curry:
1. Green peas – ¾ cup
2. Mushroom – 8
3. Oil – 1 big spoon
4. Cinnamon – ½ inch piece
Cardamom – 2
Onions – 1, chopped fine
5. Ginger – ¾ inch piece
Garlic – 6 cloves
6. Chilli powder – 1 small spoon
Coriander powder – 1 small spoon
Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon
Tomato paste – ¼ cup
7. Salt – As required
Garam masala powder – ½ small spoon
8. Couscous paste – 2 big spoons
9. Water – 1 cup
How to prepare Mushroom Green Peas Curry?
1. Wash green peas and mushrooms.
2. Make ginger-garlic paste.
3. Heat oil in a pan and sauté ingredients no: 4.
4. When it turns slight reddish colour, add ginger-garlic paste and sauté again.
5. Soak ingredients no: 6 in water and add to sauted onions.
6. Keep sauting till a thin layer of oil appears on the surface.
7. Add couscous paste and a little water and mix the contents.
8. Add 1 cup water and add green peas and mushrooms.
9. Cook the contents in low flame till vegetables are cooked.
10. Serve hot.
