Mulappicha Payar Pulao (Sprouted Green Gram Pulao)
Ingredients for Mulappicha Payar Pulao (Sprouted Green Gram Pulao):
1. Cooked raw rice (pachari choru) – 1 cup
2. Sprouted green gram – 1 cup
3. Cloves -2
Asafoetida powder – ¼ tsp
Green chillies chopped – 1
Ginger chopped – 1 tsp
Capsicum chopped – ½
Spring onion – 4
4. Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Chilli powder – 1 tsp
5. Salt – For taste
6. Oil – 1 tablespoon
How to prepare Mulappicha Payar Pulao (Sprouted Green Gram Pulao)?
1. Heat oil in a small sized urli and sauté ingredients no: 3.
2. Add ingredients no: 4 and sprouted green gram.
3. Stir well and add ¼ cup water and salt, and cook in low flame.
4. When green gram is cooked, add boiled rice and toss the contents.
