Mugalai Mutton Curry

Ingredients for Mugalai Mutton Curry:

1. Oil – ½ cup

2. Cinnamon – ½ inch piece

    Cardamom – 2

    Cloves – 2

3. Onions – 2, big chopped

4. Ginger paste – 2 small spoons

    Garlic paste – 2 small spoons

5. Mutton – ½ kg

6. Mint leaves and coriander leaves – 2 big spoons each

    Green chillies – 7, chopped

7. Red chilli powder – 1 small spoon

    Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon

    Salt – For taste

8. Tomato – 2, medium sized, chopped

9. Curd – ½ cup

10. Coconut scrapped – ¼ cup

     Cashews – 6

How to prepare Mugalai Mutton Curry?

1. Heat oil and fry ingredients no: 2.

2. Add onions and sauté till it turns light brown.

3. Add ginger garlic paste and sauté again.

4. Add mutton and sauté for a few minutes and add ingredients no: 6.

5. Sauté till a pleasant aroma comes out and add ingredients no: 7.

6. Continue frying till a pleasant aroma comes out, and add tomatoes.

7. Sauté for a few minutes and add curd.

8. Mix the contents well and then pressure cook it.

9. Make a fine paste of cashews and coconut and add to cooked mutton.

10. Cook for a few minutes in low flame and serve.
