Mint Sadam (Pudina Sadam)

Ingredients for Mint Sadam (Pudina Sadam):

1. Mint leaves – 1 small bundle

    Coriander leaves – A little

2. Onion – 1, chopped fine

    Ginger – 1 small piece, chopped fine

    Green chillies – 5, chopped

3. Raw rice – 1.5 cups

4. Ghee – 1 big spoon

5. Cumin seeds – ½ small spoon

6. Salt – For taste

How to prepare Mint Sadam (Pudina Sadam)?

1. Wash the leaves and make a fine chutney adding ingredients no: 2.

2. Cook rice and drain excess water.

3. Heat ghee in a big pan and sauté cumin seeds.

4. Add cooked rice, chutney and salt, and mix well.

5. Take off your mint sadam from flame.

6. If you need a sour taste, add a little lemon juice and mix well.
