Meeta Pan Cake

Ingredients for Meeta Pan Cake:

1. Salt-less butter – 100 gm

    Khova (without sweet) – 100 gm

    Sugar – 200 gm

2. Eggs – 2

3. Maida – 150 gm

    Baking powder – ½ small spoon

    Salt – 1/4 small spoon

    Cardamom powder – ½ small spoon

4. Betel leaf – 8

5. Milk – 6 big spoons

6. Gulkand – 2 big spoons

    Meeta pan – 2 big spoons

7. Heavy cream – ¾ cup

    Pan essence – ½ small spoon

8. Gulkand and Meeta Pan – 1 big spoon each (You can increase its quantity if you feel so)

9. Heavy cream – 250 milli

    Pan essence – 1 small spoon

10. Green colour – As needed

11. Desiccated coconut – To decorate

How to prepare Meeta Pan Cake?

1. Preheat oven in 180 degree celsious.

2. Mix together ingredients no: 1 and blend it well.

3. Add eggs one by one and beat the mixture well.

4. Mix together ingredients no: 3 and keep it aside.

5. Sprinkle a little water to betel leaves, crush it and extract 3 big spoons of juice.

6. Into butter mixture, slowly add maida mixture, milk and beetel juice little by little in alternate fashion.

7. Mix together ingredients no: 6, and add to the above mixture and blend well.

8. Transfer the contents to baking pan and bake in pre-heat oven for 30 minutes.

9. When you prick the cake using a toothpick, the batter won’t stick on to it. If so, the cake is well-cooked.

10. Allow the cake to cool, and then cut it into three layers.

11. Blend well ingredients no: 7.

12. Spread this mixture along with Gulkand and Meeta Pan in between the layers of cake.

13. Blend well ingredients no: 9 and add colour to prepare frosting.

14. Now fully wrap the cake using this mixture.

15. Add a little green colour to desiccated coconut and decorate its top.
