Meen Pullimunchi Masala

Ingredients for Meen Pullimunchi Masala:

1. Fish – 750 gm

2. Coconut oil – 2 big spoons

3. Mustard – 1/4 small spoon

    Fenugreek – ¼ small spoon

    Cumin seeds – ½ small spoon

4. Onion chopped fine – ¼ kg

    Garlic chopped fine – 1 big spoon

    Curry leaves – 10 nos.

5. Chilli paste – 3 big spoons

    Tomato chopped fine – ¼ kg

    Salt – As required

6. Vinegar – 1 big spoon

How to prepare Meen Pullimunchi Masala?

1. Cut fish without spines to small pieces.

2. Heat oil and sputter mustard seeds, followed by cumin seeds and fenugreek.

3. Add onions, garlic and curry leaves and sauté the ingredients.

4. When onions turn light brown, add ingredients no: 5 and sauté again till oil clears.

5. Add vinegar and fish pieces and cook the ingredients in low flame.

6. Cook till gravy thickens and fully covers the fish pieces.
