What are the reasons behind abdominal obesity?

Fat deposition takes place in whole body, not just on a few body parts like hands, belly etc. But the process starts with abdomen. During primitive ages, man was a hunter and during famine, it’s was nature’s gift to humans to store food in abdomen as fat for future use. That’s the reason why fat deposition starts with stomach. But in present conditions, that stored fat is not used. If this condition becomes excess it’s called abdominal obesity. Less exercise: If you exercise regularly, excess calories will be burnt. Your heart will be healthy and your blood pressure will be normal. Otherwise it leads to obesity including fat deposits of abdomen. It’s always to be noted that excess fat is first stored in abdomen.

Hereditary: It depends on heredity too, to determine where fat deposits are to be formed. In most cases, it’s belly. But in some ladies, it’s buttock, thigh or arms. It determines the shape of your body too.

In the case of ladies, you need to give attention if your abdominal size is above 80cm. if you feel tired within one or two hours of intake of food, more chances are there for diabetics. It may be due to abdominal obesity or fatty liver as well. Irrespective of height and age, a lady’s abdomen should never cross 35 inches. Even while you are slim, if your belly is fat you need regular exercise; more chances are there for heart diseases. Sleep less than 5 hours or greater than 8 hours – both can give you obesity.
