Koon Curry (Mushroom Curry)

Ingredients for Koon Curry (Mushroom Curry):

1. Mushrooms cut and cleaned – ½ kg

2. Onions – 1

3. Green chillies – 3

4. Ginger – 1 small piece

5. Garlic – 5 cloves

6. Tomato – 2, sliced

7. Chilli powder – 1 small spoon

8. Turmeric powder – ¼ small spoon

9. Garam masala – ½ small spoon

10. Curd – 3 small spoons

11. Oil – 3 big spoons

12. Curry leaves – 1 stalk

13. Water – 1 cup

How to prepare Koon Curry (Mushroom Curry)?

1. Finely chop onions, ginger, garlic and green chillies.

2. Heat oil and sauté onions, ginger, garlic and green chillies till golden brown.

3. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder and masala powder.

4. When it’s well fried, add tomatoes and sauté till oil clears.

5. Add curd, salt and water one by one and allow to boil.

6. Add mushroom pieces to it and cook well.

7. Before you take off the flame, add curry leaves.
