Konj Masala (Prawn Masala) in Chef style
Ingredients for Konj Masala:
- Lobster – 2
- Lemon juice – of 1 lemon
- Salt – a pinch
- Pepper crushed fresh – 1 pinch
- Kashmiri chilli – 1 small spoon
- Ginger-garlic paste – ½ small spoon
- Tamarind juice – ½ tsp
- Coconut oil – 1 small spoon
Method of preparation:
- Marinate lobster using all items except coconut oil.
- After 20 minutes, add oil to a pan and shallow fry it.
Ingredients for Konj Masala:
- Coconut oil – 2 tsp
- Mustard seeds – 1 pinch
- Methi powder – 1 pinch
- Onion chopped – 1
- Garlic – ½ tsp
- Green chillies – ½ spoons
- Curry leaves – 1 stem
- Turmeric powder – 1 pinch
- Chilli powder – 1 pinch
- Tomato big – 1
- Cleaned prawns – 100 gm
- Curry leaves chopped – 2 stem
- Salt and lemon juice – as needed
Method of preparation of Konj Masala:
- Heat coconut oil and splutter mustard and fenugreek seeds.
- Add onion, garlic, green chillies and curry leaves and sauté well.
- Add masala powders and tomato pieces along with prawns and sauté again.
- Add salt and lemon juice and cook dry.
- Spread prawn masala in a plate. Place lobsters on the top and serve.
