Kentucky Chicken
Ingredients for Kentucky Chicken:
1. Chicken pieces – ½ kg
2. Salt, pepper, lemon juice – For taste
3. Maida – 1 cup
Corn flour – ¼ cup
Baking powder – ½ small spoon
Salt and pepper powder – As required
Rosemary – ¼ small spoon
Oregano – ¼ small spoon
Chilli powder – ½ to ¾ small spoon
Thyme – ¼ small spoon
4. Milk – 1 cup
Egg – 1
5. Oil – For frying
How to prepare Kentucky Chicken?
1. Cut chicken into small pieces and marinate using ingredients no: 2.
2. Allow it to rest for 1 hour.
3. Mix ingredients no: 3 in a bowl.
4. Beat egg in another bowl, add milk and mix well. Keep separate.
5. Coat chicken pieces in maida-corn flour mixture first, followed by egg-milk mixture.
6. Continue the process three times.
7. Deep fry chicken in hot oil for 15 minutes, till it’s cooked.
8. Serve hot with any sauce of your choice.
