Jennifer Antony – South Indian film actress and model
Jennifer Antony is a Malayalam film actress and model, who also appears in Kannada and Tamil movies. She won Miss. Bangalore contest in 1992 and has worked in modelling industry. She also worked in a few Kannada films. In 2013 she marked her comeback through Malayalam movie 10:30 am Local Call, and has done more than 25 supporting roles in different south Indian languages since then. She was also seen in Hinglish film, Waiting in 2016. In 2018 she joined television and plays Gandhari Amma in Malayalam show Bharya and Shanthi Sukumaran in Tamil show, Ponnukku Thanga Manasu.
She was born in Kottayam, Kerala. Later she got settled in Bangalore, where she won Miss. Bangalore contest in 1992. As an actress she made late entry to Malayalam films only in 2013, two decades after her win in the beauty pageant. She has worked in Kannada films earlier without receiving recognition. Since 2013 she is quite active in the film industry, mostly playing character roles of middle-aged lady. Orange, Raajakumara, Nuggekayi, Chamak, Alone etc are her works in Kannada cinema. Karai Oram, Moondraam Ullaga Por and Bhaskar Oru Rascal are her works in Tamil.

1. Jennifer has frequently played supporting roles in most of Mammootty’s films in the recent times; Kasaba, Puthen Panam, Pathemari, Bhaskar the Rascal, Puthiya Niyamam, Uncle, Parole etc.
2. She played Joy Mathew’s wife in Pathemari. It was her first work for a Mammootty film.
3. Painting is her passion right from childhood and she loves to paint serene landscapes and portraits. She loves oil painting.
4. She made a comeback to film industry 7 years after her marriage.
