Jack seed – Cauliflower Stir Fry (Chakkakuru – Cauliflower Peralan)
Ingredients for Jack seed – Cauliflower Stir Fry (Chakkakuru – Cauliflower Peralan):
1. Oil – 3 big spoons
2. Cumin seeds – ¼ small spoon
3. Onions – 2, chopped
4. Garlic paste – 2 small spoons
Ginger paste – 2 small spoons
5. Red chillies crushed –1/4 small spoon
Turmeric powder – 1/2 small spoon
Pepper powder – 1/4 small spoon
Garam masala powder – 1/4 small spoon
Fennel powder – 1/4 small spoon
6. Tomato cooked, grinded and sieved – 1
7. Jack seed cooked – ½ cup
Cauliflower florets fried in hot oil – 1 cup
Green chillies – 1, chopped
Salt – As required
8. Coriander leaves chopped – 1 handful
How to prepare Jack seed – Cauliflower Stir Fry (Chakkakuru – Cauliflower Peralan)?
1. Heat oil and sauté cumin seeds.
2. Add onions and sauté the contents.
3. When it turns translucent, add ingredients no: 4 and sauté again.
4. When it is well done, add ingredients no: 5 and sauté again.
5. When the sweet aroma of spices comes out, add tomato purie.
6. Mix well and add ingredients no: 7.
7. Cook till the content turns dry.
8. Decorate with coriander leaves and serve.
