Goan Fish Curry

Ingredients for Goan Fish Curry:

1. Pomfret (Avoli) – 1

2. Coconut – 1

3. Coriander – 10 gm

    Kashmiri chilli – 8

    Turmeric powder – 3 gm

    Cumin seeds – 5 gm

4. Tomato chopped – 50 gm

    Onions chopped – 50 gm

    Ginger chopped lengthwise – 10 gm

5. Tamarind juice – 40 milli

6. Oil – 30 milli

7. Salt, pepper – As needed

How to prepare Goan Fish Curry?

1. Clean fish and cut into 4 pieces.

2. Make a powder of ingredients no: 3, and keep aside.

3. Extract milk from coconut.

4. Heat oil in a pot and sauté ingredients no: 4.

5. Add the powders and sauté again.

6. Add tamarind juice, and allow the masala to boil.

7. Add fish pieces.

8. When fish pieces start to cook, add coconut milk.

9. Continue cooking till it’s done.

10. Add salt and pepper, and put off the flame.
