End note: Achuvinte Amma (Achu’s mother) marked the glorious comeback of actress Urvashi after marriage, a gap of 5 years. The movie tells the story of a single mother & daughter, & Urvashi’s role as foster mother of Meera Jasmine earned her National award for best actress in supporting role. The chemistry between mother & daughter is awesome, and when it’s revealed in the climax, after daughter leaves mother for her boyfriend, Urvashi is only her foster mother with around 10-yrs age gap, the way she enacted the scenes, are enough to prove she is the best actress Mollywood has ever produced.

In one of the song sequences, you can see mom taking rose apple from vegetable shop, and her daughter asks her not to. To console her hurt mother, she buys Chinese potato of her mom’s favourite, which she hates most. There are many such simple sequences throughout the film.
