Colourful Rava Idli
Ingredients for Colourful Rava Idli:
1. Ghee – 1 big spoon
2. Mustard – ½ small spoon
3. Semolina (Rava) – 1 cup
4. Curd – ¾ cup
Milk – 1/2 cup
Baking powder – ¼ small spoon
Soda bicarbonate – A pinch
Salt – For taste
Green peas cooked – ¼ cup
Carrot chopped fine/grated – ¼ cup
Onions chopped fine – 3 big spoons
Tomato chopped fine, after removing seeds – 3 big spoons
Green chillies chopped fine – 2
Curry leaves chopped fine – 1 stalk
How to prepare Colourful Rava Idli?
1. Heat ghee and sputter mustard seeds.
2. Fry rava in this ghee till it turns golden brown.
3. Put off the flame and allow it to cool.
4. Add ingredients no: 4 to it and mix well to prepare the batter.
5. Steam cook in idli maker.
6. Serve with chutney of your choice.
