Chakka Pazham – Kofta Payasam (Jackfruit-Kofta Payasam)
Ingredients for Chakka Pazham – Kofta Payasam:
1. Jackfruit – 1 cup cut into very fine pieces
Cashew nut pieces – 1 spoon
Raisins – 1 spoon
Rice powder – 2 big spoons
2. Milk – ½ litre
Sugar – For taste
3. Rice Powder – 1 small spoon
4. Cardamom powder – 1 small spoon
How to prepare Chakka Pazham – Kofta Payasam?
1. Mix ingredients no: 1 and make kofta balls.
2. Heat milk in a pan adding sufficient sugar and cook kofta balls in it for two minutes.
3. Add 1 small spoon rice powder to a little wall, mix well and pour it to your jack fruit – Kofta Payasam.
4. Cook the payasam till it reduces in volume, and turns thick.
5. Add 1 small spoon cardamom powder and put off the flame.
