Ingredients for Chaatta Pulissery:

1. Mango fruit – 2

2. Pepper – 40 seeds, made into a fine paste

    Salt – For taste

    Jaggery powdered – 4 small spoons

3. Coconut – ½, scrapped

    Cumin seeds – ½ small spoon

4. Butter milk – 200 milli

5. Ghee – 1 small spoon

6. Cumin seeds – ½ small spoon

7. Pepper – 5 seeds

How to prepare Chaatta Pulissery?

1. Peel off the skin of mangoes and cut into small pieces.

2. Add ingredients no: 2 to mangoes, and cook it well adding water.

3. Make a fine paste of cumin and coconut.

4. Add half quantity of buttermilk to gravy and mix well.

5. Add this mixture to cooked mango pieces and mix well.

6. Pour the remaining buttermilk and reduce the flame.

7. Keep stirring and allow the contents to boil.

8. When curry turns thick, put off the flame.

9. Sauté cumin seeds in ghee and add to curry.

10. Decorate your Pulissery with crushed black pepper.
