Cashew-Rava Burfi
Ingredients for Cashew-Rava Burfi:
- Cashew nuts – 40 gm
- Rava powder – 100 gm
- Sugar – 450 gm
- Milk – ¼ litre
- Vanaspati – 200 gm
- Ghee – as needed
- Cardamom powder – as needed
How to prepare Cashew-Rava Burfi?
- Soak cashew nuts in milk for a while and grind it to a fine paste.
- Roast rava in vanaspathi.
- Heat sugar in a pan. Allow it to boil and drain its impurities.
- Add cashew paste, rava and cardamom powder and stir continuously.
- Add vanaspathi little by little and keep stirring.
- At last add a little ghee when it becomes thick.
- Apply a thin coating of ghee in a plate and spread this mixture on it.
- Before it cools, cut into desired shapes. Serve hot or chilled as you please.
